JSC UGC presented the project of the Far Eastern Grain Terminal to Evgeny Gromyko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation


On 5 October 2017 at the special session "Export infrastructure is a key factor in access to foreign markets" in the framework of the XIX exhibition "Golden autumn", one of the organizers, JSC United grain company, presented a model of the Far Eastern Grain Terminal.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Russia for storage, transshipment and export of grain.

Its construction is planned in the period up to 2020. The project was presented by CEO of JSC UGC Mikhail Kiyko.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Evgeny Gromyko praised the investment project of JSC UGC and pointed out that the Ministry was open to all the suggestions of business to create the right conditions for exports of agricultural products, also in the framework of priority project "Export of agricultural products".

Among the most important tasks in this area he mentioned the formation of the system flow of highly processed agricultural products, the market study of partner countries and the creation of a developed logistics infrastructure in their territory.

According to him, Russian export in future by 90% will consist of products of small and medium-sized business.

But this requires the solution of many systemic and strategic issues.
