DVZT LLC will participate in the third Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok on 5 September.
The Eastern Economic Forum was established by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation to promote accelerated development of the economy of the Far East and the expansion of international cooperation in the Asia Pacific region. Vladimir Putin will personally take part in the activities of EEF, heads of Japan, the Republic of Korea and Mongolia also confirmed their presence on the Forum.
According to the Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky, the EEF is a good opportunity to represent the region on Russian and international scene, "a vivid demonstration of the fact that Primorye is a promising area, where it is profitable to conduct business, to work, where they can fulfill themselves." It is planned that this year Primorsky Region will sign at least 40 projects on the sidelines of EEF.
The regions of the Siberia and Far East have significant growth potential in grain production and have the capacity to increase the grain and soy production to 3 mln tons per annum by 2020 and potentially to 5 mln tons by 2030. The construction of the grain terminal in the Far East allows grain producers from the Russian Federation to enter the markets of the Asia-Pacific countries.
In addition, the construction of the terminal will allow to redirect the internal flows of grain in China via Zarubino port due to its favorable location, the new terminal will significantly reduce the logistics costs and transportation time of goods from China.
