JSC UGC CEO Michael Kiyko took part in the signing of a Memorandum of understanding with the representatives of the People's Republic of China. The signatories were the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Summa Group, a shareholder of JSC UGC, Ziyavudin Magomedov and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group (ZJSG) Mao Csango.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich. The document is aimed at expansion of cooperation between the ports of Russia (in particular Vladivostok sea trading port and Big port Zarubino) and the ports of the Chinese province of Zhejiang.
The parties intend to develop multimodal transportations between China, Russia and Europe, to strengthen strategic cooperation in the field of international maritime trade, to support the development of the logistics business.
One of the main investment vectors of JSC UGC is directed to the East – the company is implementing the investment project of construction of a Specialized grain terminal in the sea port Zarubino located in Primorsky Krai.
